PanBot SMS Terms
How order-confirmation text messages work, how you consent to them, and how to stop them at any time.

The program
PanBot is an AI phone receptionist operated by Enkira, Inc. on behalf of the restaurants that use it. When you call a restaurant that uses PanBot, PanBot answers the phone, takes your order, and sends it to the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
The PanBot SMS program sends you one text message confirming that order once the restaurant's kitchen has actually received it. That message tells you which restaurant the order is for, your order number, an estimated wait time, and — where the restaurant offers it — a link to pay online.
Messages are sent from a PanBot number and always identify PanBot and the restaurant by name. A typical message looks like this:
PanBot: your order at Szechuan Royale (#1042) is in the kitchen. Ready in about 20 minutes. Pay online: pay.enkira.ai/1042. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
How you opt in
You opt in on the call, by agreeing when PanBot asks. While taking your order, PanBot tells you that you would be agreeing to receive order updates by text from PanBot, that message frequency may vary, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help — and then asks whether that is all right. We text you only if you say yes.
The number we use is the one you are calling from, or a different one if you give us one. If you say no, or if your answer is not clear, we do not text you and your order is taken exactly the same way.
There is no other way for a customer to join this program. We never text a customer whose number did not reach us on a call placing an order — not one from a past order, not one from a restaurant's own customer list, and not one from any other source. A number you used to order from one restaurant is not used to message you about another.
Separately from customer messages, a restaurant's own staff can give us a number during setup so we can send them operational alerts about their phone line and about orders needing attention. Those messages go to the restaurant, never to its customers, and carry no customer details. Staff can reply STOP in the same way.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. If you prefer not to receive a text, tell PanBot on the call and your order will be taken without one.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how often you order. Ordinarily you receive one message per order. If something goes wrong with an order you have already placed, you may receive one additional message about it.
This program sends no marketing or promotional messages. If we offer restaurant promotions in future, we would ask for your agreement separately before sending you any.
Cost
PanBot does not charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any PanBot message to be unsubscribed. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. Reply START at any time to resubscribe.
Opting out stops text messages only. It does not cancel an order you have already placed, and it does not stop the restaurant from calling you about that order.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any PanBot message for support information, or contact us through the contact page. For questions about the food, the price, or the timing of a specific order, contact the restaurant directly — they own the order.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and a message may be delayed or dropped by your carrier or device.
Supported carriers
This program is available on major U.S. mobile carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.
Privacy
We use your mobile number to send you messages about your order and to give the restaurant a way to reach you about it. It goes to the restaurant you ordered from, to the messaging provider that delivers the text, and to the AI providers that process the call. Our privacy policy lists those categories in full.
We do not sell or rent your mobile number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Our privacy policy sets out in full what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to place orders after a change means the updated terms apply to those orders.
